A great day of winery visits, tastings, and seminars today between Asolo and Montello.
That’s a wild strawberry, above, that I found this morning on our hike in Montello.
And this was the fantastic spring risotto served to us for lunch at the Ca’ Recantina, a wonderful tiny, hilltop guest house in Asolo township.

I cannot see exactly from the photo. Was the risotto including white asparagus?
Francesco, the risotto didn’t have white asparagus in it. But we were also served gently steamed seasonal white asparagus (delicious!) layered with green asparagus and mozzarella di bufala… one of the best things I’ve eaten on the trip so far…
