Jeremy Parzen launched this site as an html weblog in 2006. It initially served as an archive of his food and wine tasting notes.
As his career in food and wine journalism and marketing began to expand, so did the blog. From 2008 until 2025, Do Bianchi chronicled his work and travels across Italy and the U.S.
It was also a diary of his life and times.
In 2026, when Jeremy took a step back from work-related travel to become a full-time homemaker, Do Bianchi pivoted to his political and activist interests, personal histories, and the occasional hedonist post.
The name Do Bianchi means “two white wines” in Venetian dialect.
During his early years as a food and wine writer in New York, Jeremy wrote under a handful of pseudonyms, including Edoardo “Do” Bianchi.
