Having also just completed Kerin O’Keefe fantastic book on Brunello di Montalcino, one cannot help but think this is some form of retribution over “Brunellogate” whether Soldera was involved or not. Though I truly believe that he was not a whistle blower, only a justly staunch critic. I cannot imagine someone who makes such honest wines, to not be honest across the board. I hope that Soldera carries one, he is one of the most important persons in the world of wine, not just Italy. Thank you Jeremy for bringing this to light here in the U.S. Please let his family know how many people have been touched by this senseless act. Cheers, Greg
