You misunderstood my comments. When I referred to “over the top” comments, I was referring to the prose of others, not this producer. As I said, this producer speaks the truth!

This is really great and should give an insight to what really is happening in Montalcino.No, I don’t think any of it is over the top, infact quite the contrary and by the way, I am not a believer of conspiracy theories on the whole.

This is what we need – commentary from a producer on this mess. And what commentary it is! Straightforward, honest and to the point.

There have been countless commentaries from individuals outside of Montalcino about what should be done to clean up this mess. Some comments are insightful and others a bit over the top. But this often happens when people speak in the heat of the moment. How nice to have a common sense argument from someone in the trenches.
