The ceviche porn really messed with my head, but then the Butt Rub made me laugh.

I would pair one of the Salento peninsula’s wonderful rosatti. I still can’t find anything I like more than Leone De Castris’s 65th Anniversary Five Roses, which I believe was the first rose imported to the U.S. from Italy. The Five Roses has the structure and the acidity to make it work.

bay park’s ceviche was yum, but the ceviche at bahia is assolutamente my favorite.

i would pair a medium-weight italian rose’ with that. the flavors are pretty bold and definitely need wine with a bit of spine.

then again, with a little vodka, you would have the ULTIMATE bloody mary, no?

So glad to hear that Zenbu is alive and well. Some of the most memorable sushi I’ve experienced has been served there. Why can’t we have rolls like that in NYC?
