I am a hardcore Italian wine terroirist myself. I’ve been reading Alice Feiring’s new book, can’t say it’s the easiest read and her words don’t flow like Jay McInerney’s. But I am pretty much 100% in agreement with her. She seems to be quite the character. And reading yesterday I noticed the reference to “Dr. J”, with a PhD in Italian. I didn’t realize she is a Philly 76ers fan.
